Job Summary Our wonderful team is seeking a passionate individual with exceptional patient care skills, a strong understanding of dental procedures, proficiency in taking X-rays, meticulous attention to sterilization protocols, and a collaborative spirit to seamlessly assist the dentist in providing high-quality oral healthcare, while ensuring patient comfort and a positive experience throughout their visit. We are looking for an individual who is capable of treatment coordinating and has exceptional communication skills to join our team! Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary tools and equipment. Prepare patients for treatment by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort. Make dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate medical records, including patient histories and treatment plans. Manage appointment scheduling and treatment planning using the dental software system Dentrix Ascend. Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of the dental operatory. Educate patients on oral hygiene care and post-treatment instructions. Collaborate with other dental professionals to provide high-quality patient care. Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining a clean and sterile environment. Communicating effectively with the team as a whole to create a smooth flow for the day. Skills Proficiency in general dentistry practices and assisting techniques. Eagerness to learn procedures such as dental implant therapy assisting and orthodontic assisting Familiarity with the dental software system Dentrix Ascend. Ability to take vital signs accurately and monitor patients effectively. Strong organizational skills to manage medical records and appointment scheduling efficiently. Ability to treatment plan and answer financial questions from the patient. Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and team members professionally. Knowledge of medical imaging techniques is a plus. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
