Dr Matthew Schwed is seeking a part-time Pediatric Associate to join his team who is compassionate, caring and dedicated! His privately-owned dental practice is thriving and exponentially growing, resulting in his need to bring on a colleague who could eventually become a partner in the business w/potential partial ownership after 1st year. This is an excellent opportunity for an Associate who is wanting to avoid the difficulties of a startup and step into an established, successful practice. Dr Schwed is looking for an Associate committed to delivering the highest quality Pediatric dental care, who thrives in a compassionate and supportive atmosphere. Dr Schwed takes pride in being named as âMom Approved Doctorsâ in the publication DFWChild. His dedicated and exceptional team are passionate about working with children and creating a positive experience for our young patients. We foster a welcoming and fun environment, making dental visits enjoyable for our patients and providing a rewarding workplace for our team. The practice provides all pediatric dental services- prevention, restorative, emergency care, laser procedures and oral sedation. We provide one general anesthesia day per month. The practice has a mix of PPO insurances, Medicaid and FFS. We recently restructured our insurance contracts and are now on the top paying fee schedules for Pediatric specialists in our region. Dr Schwed is currently working Monday-Thursday 9-5 and alt Fridays 9-1. The Associates schedule is flexible and open to discussion. Per day guarantee and net production percentage will be discussed @ interview. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive dental care to pediatric patients, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning. Perform dental procedures such as dental extractions, pulpotomies and dental treatment tailored for children. Use medical imaging techniques appropriately for diagnosis while understanding relevant anatomy knowledge. Engage in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize efficiency and patient comfort. Requirements Valid dental license with specialization in Pediatric Dentistry Proficiency Open Dental is highly desirable. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively in a pediatric setting. Experience working in a dental office environment is preferred. Ability to communicate clearly with children and their families while maintaining professionalism. Providing compassionate and expert dental care within a supportive environment focused on growth and excellence. Dr Schwed is willing to mentor a new graduate as long as they have completed their Pediatric residency, has an amenable personality, is coachable, great with children and their parents! He is wanting to find someone with a blend of a great disposition and clinical education to grow the next stage of his practice with.
