Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our dynamic growing team in providing exceptional dental care to children. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental setting, particularly in pediatric dentistry, and will be skilled in assisting with various dental procedures. This role requires a friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with both children and their parents. The hours are : Monday 8:00 - 5:00 , Tuesday 8:00 - 4:00 , Wednesday 8:00-5:00 and Thursdays 7:45 - 3:00 , in addition to 1st and 2nd Friday of the Month Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Multi-Tasking with accuracy & efficiency. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Maintain an organized operatory. Take and develop X-rays as needed while adhering to safety protocols & state licensure. Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in accordance with clinical policies using CURVE dental software. Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow within the clinic to optimize efficiency within the CURVE dental software system. Support the administrative team with tasks related to patient intake and insurance verification as needed. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a pediatric setting is preferred. Proficiency in dental software systems such as CURVE is highly desirable. RHS licensure preferred Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with children, their families and the dental team.
