Full job description We invite skilled and dedicated individuals to apply for the Expanded Function Dental Assistant position. Key Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Accurately take dental radiographs. Managed patient flow, ensuring efficient transition from the waiting room to the operating room. Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care Handle dental instruments and materials during procedures. Obtain precise dental impressions for study casts or prosthetic fabrications. Fabricate, adjust, and fit temporary crowns as needed. Maintain a sanitized and orderly operatory, ensuring all equipment is in optimal condition. Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Chart existing and treatment plans in the dental management software (Dentrix) Qualifications: Possession of a 1 x-ray certification. At least 2 years of hands-on experience as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant. Demonstrated skill in obtaining dental impressions. Proficiency in the fabrication and adjustment of temporary crowns. Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills. Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
