Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate General Dentist to join our reputable state of art dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and patient comfort. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment utilizing advanced dental technology and techniques, including Softdent, CBCT, and CEREC systems. The position emphasizes pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and general dentistry procedures, supporting a diverse patient demographic. Candidates should have a strong foundation in dental terminology, infection control, medical documentation, and HIPAA compliance. Experience with dental fabrication, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and dental extractions is highly valued. Responsibilities Diagnose and develop treatment plans for patients across a broad spectrum of dental needs. Perform general dentistry procedures including restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics. Conduct pediatric dentistry treatments with a focus on patient comfort and safety. Utilize advanced imaging techniques and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment. Engage in oral surgery procedures such as dental extractions and other surgical interventions as needed. Implement four-handed dentistry practices to optimize efficiency and patient care quality. Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and treatment options using clear medical terminology. Document all patient interactions thoroughly within electronic health record systems. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless patient flow and exceptional service delivery. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license to practice as an Associate General Dentist. Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical imaging. Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Softdent preferred. Hands-on experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics. Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques aligned with OSHA guidelines. Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to dental procedures. Ability to perform dental fabrication tasks when necessary. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively while demonstrating professionalism and compassion.
