Orthodontic Clinical Assistant-- Degenhardt Orthodontics Degenhardt Orthodontics is growing, and weâre looking for a clinical orthodontic assistant who is positive, adaptable, and excited to be part of a high-functioning, patient-centered team. Responsibilities This role is clinically focused and includes: Clinical Duties Assisting Dr. Steve in providing outstanding orthodontic care Sterilization and infection control Taking orthodontic records Assisting with: Fixed braces bonding Fixed braces removal (debond) Fixed braces adjustments Clear aligner bonding Clear aligner removal Clear aligner adjustments Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment Building positive relationships with patients and families Supporting day-to-day office flow and team needs Cross-Training & Flexibility After mastering clinical responsibilities, this role may include helping at the front desk as needed , including: Scheduling Assisting with patient flow Supporting the front team during busy times Community Involvement · Opportunities to support and participate in community outreach events , such as: o School oral hygiene and education events o Farmers market events o Local movie nights and community gatherings · Representing Degenhardt Orthodontics with positivity and professionalism in the community Qualifications Orthodontic or dental experience is a plus, but not required Willingness to learn clinical orthodontic techniques Strong communication skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and stay organized A positive, solutions-focused attitude Strong teamwork mentality Why Join Degenhardt Orthodontics? 4-day work week Supportive, upbeat team culture Willingness to train and invest in the right person Opportunities for professional growth A practice that values people, not just productivity The chance to make a real impact on patientsâ lives Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 28 â 36 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Employee discount On-the-job training Opportunities for advancement Paid sick time Paid time off Safety equipment provided Tuition reimbursement Work Location: In person
