Position Overview: Orthodontic Assistant We’re currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, thrives in a team setting, and brings strong communication and organizational skills to a fast-paced clinical environment. What You’ll Do Assist the orthodontist during patient appointments, including bracket bonding (Damon & LightForce) and clear aligner delivery Take and upload dental x-rays Perform intraoral scans using the iTero scanner Prepare treatment rooms and support patient procedures Sterilize and maintain instruments and clinical equipment Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Perform basic orthodontic procedures under doctor supervision Maintain accurate, detailed patient records Operate 3D printing equipment for orthodontic appliances Utilize Ortho2 Edge software (preferred, not required) What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent (required) Dental or orthodontic experience preferred (2+ years ideal, but not required) Strong work ethic and self-motivation Friendly, upbeat, and positive attitude Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills Eagerness to learn and grow professionally Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organization Reliable transportation and a commitment to punctuality Ability to travel between our Commerce Township and Farmington Hills locations Ready to Apply?
