Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Scottsdale, AZ

What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the first impression of our practice, delivering a calm, confident, and elevated patient experience
- Schedule appointments accurately using dental practice management software such as TDO
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, referring offices, and insurance providers
- Verify insurance benefits and confidently discuss financial arrangements
- Collect payments, process billing, and manage medical collections in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Maintain accurate patient records within EMR systems- TDO endodontic software.
- Coordinate referrals and maintain strong relationships with dental offices, help with marketing
- Support the clinical team and contribute to smooth daily operations/ some cross training required
- Review documentation for completeness and accuracy, including CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, and medical billing documentation
- Handle multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette and assist patients with inquiries
- Manage office administrative tasks such as filing, data entry
- Assist in coordinating care plans and ensuring proper documentation of patient visits
- Support clinic operations by managing front desk responsibilities including intake procedures, appointment confirmations, and follow-up scheduling

Qualifications
- Prior experience in a dental or medical office setting is preferred; dental clinic experience is a plus
- Proficiency with dental practice management software - such as TDO endodontic software is a plus
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and insurance verification processes
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and typing proficiency (
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and data entry
- Outstanding customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and bilingual abilities are advantageous
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Strong clerical skills including filing, record management, and office management experience
