About the Opportunity: An established outpatient dental clinic supported by the Indian Health Service (IHS) is seeking a General Dentist for a long-term contract assignment providing community-based dental care.

This position offers a predictable weekday schedule, manageable patient volume, and the opportunity to work with a supportive, experienced clinical team in a 100% outpatient setting.

Position Highlights:

• Outpatient-only dentistry
• No call, no weekends, no overnight duties
• Predictable weekday schedule -Low daily patient volume
• Long-term assignment with stability
• Support staff in place

Schedule: Primary Clinic – Fort Yates, ND

• Monday–Thursday
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 30-minute lunch

Satellite Clinic – McLaughlin, SD

• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 30-minute lunch

Clinical Details

• Specialty: General Dentistry
• Setting: 100% outpatient
• Patient Volume: Approximately 6–8 patients per day
• Patient Population: All ages (primarily adults)
• Scope of Care: General dentistry and simple extractions
• Support Staff: Dental assistants on site; hygienist support in progress
• EMR: Dentrix

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive weekly compensation - $4,400/week, 5x8hrs, 40hrs/week
• Weekly direct deposit
• Travel and lodging assistance available
• Long-term contract option available

Requirements:

• Active U.S. dental license (any state)
• DEA
• U.S. Citizenship
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Ability to meet IHS credentialing requirements
