Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional chairside assistance, ensuring infection control, and maintaining accurate medical and dental records. Responsibilities Assist dentists during various procedures Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments Take radiographs Record vital signs and medical history accurately in electronic health records Manage patient flow efficiently by greeting patients, and scheduling appointments, Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions Support administrative duties as needed, including dental reception tasks and managing medical records Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices Proficiency in Dentrix a plus (not necessary) Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely and accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This position offers an engaging work environment where your skills directly contribute to patient health outcomes.
