Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist Associate to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry, complemented by specialized knowledge in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and restorative procedures. As a Dentist Associate, you will deliver comprehensive dental care, ensure patient comfort, and uphold the highest standards of clinical excellence. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments utilizing advanced medical imaging and dental terminology to diagnose oral health issues accurately. Provide a wide range of dental treatments including general dentistry procedures, dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques. Collaborate with the dental team to develop personalized treatment plans that prioritize patient needs and comfort while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for medical documentation and medical records management. Utilize dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar platforms for efficient scheduling, documentation, and treatment tracking. Maintain strict infection control protocols and adhere to sterilization standards to ensure patient safety during all procedures. Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions using clear communication of medical terminology. Support the dental team in maintaining a clean, organized clinic environment that promotes infection control and optimal workflow for four-handed dentistry. Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery techniques, and general dentistry practices through ongoing professional development. Requirements Valid dental license to practice in the respective jurisdiction with current credentials. Proven experience in dental office settings or clinics with familiarity in dental fabrication and medical imaging techniques. Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or comparable systems for efficient clinical operations. Strong knowledge of anatomy, infection control protocols, medical terminology, and HIPAA compliance standards. Demonstrated expertise in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery including extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics procedures. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively while providing compassionate treatment. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment practicing aseptic techniques consistently. Knowledge of dental terminology relevant to general dentistry and specialized fields such as pediatrics and prosthodontics is essential.
