Responsibilities Providing a comfortable and safe experience for patients Gathering initial assessment information including preliminary charting, required radiographs, perio charting and intra oral photos Diagnose and treat a patient’s periodontal condition via debridement, prophylaxis or nonsurgical periodontal therapy Administer local anesthesia Administer nitrous oxide Compliant with OSHA, HIPPA and infection control protocols Provide oral health education consistent with current guidelines and research Maintain documentation and charts on each patient Monitor supplies Maintain an active unrestricted license Pursue continuing education to improve skill set and patient experience Skills Excellent communication to better assist patients and work effectively with the team Acquiring radiographs including Panoramic, FMX, PA’s and Bitewings Proficient use with practice management software (training provided) Performing hygiene procedures to the highest clinical standard.
