DENTAL ASSISTANT FULL-TIME We are a small, patient-focused one doctor practice looking to add a full-time chairside Dental Assistant to our growing team. Experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate. We offer a consistent schedule with no evenings or weekends and a supportive and respectful work environment. Duties: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments - Take and develop dental x-rays - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history - Update and maintain electronic health records - Assist with medical coding and documentation - Manage and organize dental supplies and equipment - Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar 1-2 years of prior DA experience in a general dental setting X-ray/Radiology Certification is a MUST Nitrous Oxide Certification is a plus Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) a plus Knowledge of Open Dental software Skills: - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work well in a team environment - Proficiency in using dental software We offer competitive compensation (based on experience) and benefits package, including paid time off, paid holidays, uniform allowance, and opportunities for professional development.
