Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Marion, OH
Compensation: $20+ per hour (depending on experience) We are seeking a qualified and professional Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our established dental practice. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, patient-focused, and able to contribute effectively in a clinical team environment. Working Hours: Full-time position: 30â36 hours per week Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8:00 AM â 4:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM â 3:00 PM Closed on Wednesdays Key Responsibilities: Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during dental procedures Prepare, maintain, and disinfect treatment rooms and equipment Sterilize instruments in accordance with infection control standards Take and process dental radiographs Maintain accurate and complete patient records Ensure patient comfort and deliver a high standard of care Comply with all safety, regulatory, and clinical protocols Qualifications: Dental Assistant experience required Experience with Open Dental software is a plus Working knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology Strong communication and interpersonal skills High level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment Licenses & Certifications: Current X-ray (radiography) license required Benefits: 401(k) retirement plan Paid Time Off (PTO) available after 90 days of employment Paid holidays Supportive and professional work environment Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply by submitting their resume for consideration.
