Experienced Dental Patient Coordinator Front Office | Patient-Focused Practice We are seeking an Experienced Dental Patient Coordinator to join our growing dental team. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, confident with dental insurance, and thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. The Patient Coordinator is the first and last impression of our office and plays a critical role in patient experience, scheduling efficiency, and treatment acceptance. Requirements (Must Have): 2+ years experience in a dental front office or patient coordinator role Strong dental insurance knowledge (PPOs, HMOs, breakdowns, verification, estimates) Experience scheduling patients and managing a productive schedule Comfortable presenting treatment plans and discussing financial options Excellent communication and customer service skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure Key Responsibilities: Greet patients and provide an exceptional front-office experience Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility prior to appointments Create and present accurate treatment plans and financial estimates Schedule appointments efficiently to support production goals Collect co-pays, deductibles, and payments at time of service Manage patient follow-ups, confirmations, and unscheduled treatment Coordinate with clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow Maintain accurate patient records and notes in dental software Handle incoming calls, texts, and patient inquiries professionally Preferred (Nice to Have): Experience with dental software (Dentrix, Open Dental, Eaglesoft, etc.) Knowledge of third-party financing (CareCredit, Sunbit, etc.) Experience with recalls, reactivation, and insurance aging Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required What We Offer: Competitive pay based on experience Supportive, team-oriented work environment Opportunities for growth and advancement Consistent schedule A positive culture focused on patient care and teamwork Apply on Indeed with your resume.
