Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dental Front Desk professional to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming environment while managing all front office operations. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help streamline patient flow, coordinate appointments, verify insurance coverage, and support the overall efficiency of our dental practice. Duties Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software (e.g., Open Dental) Verify patient insurance benefits, process claims, and handle insurance collections accurately Manage patient check-in and check-out, update records, and collect payments Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette Maintain accurate documentation and review of patient records and treatment plans Ensure HIPAA compliance and safeguard patient information Assist with filing records, managing supplies, typing, and data entry using Microsoft Office Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and insurance companies Qualifications Previous experience in a dental office or medical front desk role preferred Knowledge of insurance verification and third-party payers (Medicare a plus) Strong customer service skills and ability to multitask Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel; accurate typing/10-key skills Clear communication in English; bilingual skills highly desirable Professional phone etiquette and experience with multi-line phones Strong attention to detail in documentation and billing Experience & Training Dental front desk or clinical experience is a plus, but not required Willing to train the right candidate who is motivated, reliable, and eager to learn Join our team where your enthusiasm fuels our mission to deliver outstanding dental care!
