Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Hello! Dr. Scott Aduddell here from Aduddell Dentistry We are a father son family general dental practice located in Plano. Our established family practice is looking for an RDA to help us take care of our patients . This position also will require helping our office manager at the front desk with answering phone calls and scheduling patients when necessary. The hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 to 5pm. (We take a one hour lunch break!) Experience in a dental office is preferred. If you have had experience chairside and experience working as a dental receptionist, this is a huge plus. If you are new to dentistry, and you are motivated, willing to learn, and want to get into the dental field, send us your resume and an explanation as to why you would like to get into dentistry and we will consider training you! Some of the duties for this position include: *Simply taking care of people the way you would want to be treated* -Greeting patients with a smile - Prepare patients for dental procedures by welcoming, comforting, and seating them. - Assist the dentist in preparing for procedures and by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Take dental x-rays - Maintain accurate patient records and assist with dental charting - Perform office tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining supplies -Maintain communication with dental labs and lab work.
