Traveling Orthodontic Assistant - Scott's Dental Group - Dallas Fort Worth, TX

Responsibilities: Placing and removing orthodontic appliances, and taking full records under supervision of the Orthodontist Set up treatment rooms and instruments for orthodontic procedures Perform accurate and efficient procedures to maintain the schedule and patient flow Review patient charts, log appropriate patient data and transcribe doctor notes Perform laboratory procedures under supervision of an Orthodontist Perform final checks on patients Clean, sterilize, and prepare the equipment and operatory following standard protocols Adhere to all infection-control policies and protocols Take dental impressions and X-rays as needed Providing quality dental care to patients - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Requirements: - Previous experience as an orthodontic assistant required - Proficiency in using dental software systems, such as Eaglesoft - Knowledge of vital signs measurement and recording - Strong assisting skills, including sterilization techniques, instrument handling, and tray set-up - Experience with CAD/CAM technology for orthodontic appliances is a plus - X-ray certification is required We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Orthodontic Assistant to join our team.
