Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) - Fort Bliss Family Dentistry - Fort Bliss, TX

Dental Assistant Duties: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Take and develop dental x-rays - Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment - Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices - Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as taking impressions of patients' teeth - Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records Experience: - Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred, but not required - Knowledge of medical coding and documentation - Familiarity with Epic or other electronic medical record systems is a plus - Experience working with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software is a plus - Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus We are looking for a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team.
