Registered Dental Assistant - Don E. Sanders DDS - Amarillo, TX

Tumbleweed Dental is looking for a Registered Dental Assistantwith an outstanding chair-side manner and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality of care for our patients. The Dental Assistant will be responsible for assisting the doctor in procedures, sterilizing instruments, screening patients during checkups, taking vitals, and other various tasks. The ideal candidate is familiar with dental terminology, reliably on time, and is detail oriented. Experience with Denticon is preferred. Pay is an hourly rate between $15.00 and $23.00. Schedule : ·Monday and Thursday, 8:30am - 3:00pm (no lunch) Tuesday and Wednesday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (1 hr lunch) Responsibilities: Screening patients during checkups Reviewing and updating patients’ dental and medical histories Assisting the doctor with procedures Taking x-rays and impressions Charting and thorough note taking Sterilizing instruments and operatories Requirements: 1-3 years’ experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred Excellent Communication Skills Ability to work on a team Experience assisting dentist in surgical procedures such as implants, full mouth extractions Experience with comprehensive cosmetic cases Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour Benefits: On-the-job training License/Certification: Registered Dental Assistant License (Required) Work Location: In person
