Dental Assistant - Parmer Lane Orthodontics - Austin, TX

Parmer Lane Orthodontics is searching for a part-time Orthodontic Dental Assistant. Dental Assistants (with an active RDA and CPR licenses) and bilingual (Spanish) speaker are preferred. No experience is necessary; we will train you. Compensation will depend upon your experience. This is a digital and modern state of the art office. All PPE will be provided. Responsibilities: Setup instruments, equipment, and materials for patients Clean, sterilize, sort and package instruments Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Scan patients using our iTERO Provide oral hygiene care instructions to new and current patients Keep the entire facility clean, stocked and organized Maintain accurate patient records Assist with orthodontic procedures and records taking Answer calls when necessary Skills Orthodontic dental experience is a plus (can train if necessary) Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods (can train if necessary) Excellent communication and people skills (bilingual, Spanish speaking preferred) Organized and reliable High school diploma Experience: Dental Assisting: 1 year (Preferred) Bilingual Preferred (English and Spanish) Registered Dental Assistant (Preferred)
