Orthodontic Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Wylie, TX | Full-Time Schedule: MondayâFriday; start times vary between 6:30 AM and 7:30 AM Overview We are seeking an experienced Orthodontic Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. This role requires strong chairside orthodontic experience along with the ability to support digital scanning & in-house printing. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of their responsibilities. Minimum of 1 year of orthodontic experience required. Key Responsibilities Chairside orthodontic assisting, including bracket adjustments, appliance delivery (RPE, Herbst), and retainer bonding Digital scanning for appliances and aligners using an iTero scanner In-house printing and fabrication of retainers (Essix and Hawley) Take panoramic and cephalometric X-rays and intraoral photos Prepare and educate patients on treatment and appliance care Maintain accurate records and follow sterilization and infection control protocols Qualifications Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification Minimum 1 year of orthodontic chairside experience Experience with digital scanning and orthodontic workflows Comfortable assisting with in-house printing processes Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills Familiarity with dental software and electronic records Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) with company match
