**Overview:** We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and promote oral health in a professional and compassionate manner. **Duties:** - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, root planning and scaling, and polishing teeth - Take x-rays - Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic dental software (Dentrix) - Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean dental office environment - Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care Qualifications: - Valid dental hygiene license in WV - Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program - Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus - Familiarity with medical documentation and electronic health records systems - Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and communicate with patients - Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate patient assessment.
