Registered Dental Hygienist - Lil' Dente Pediatric Dentistry - Darien, CT

We have a rare opening for a dental hygienist in our growing and loving pediatric office located in Darien, CT. We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, friendly, and reliable team member to grow with us. This person should love working with kids, have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a fun and creative environment. They will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients and parents on oral hygiene practices. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Greeting patients/positive attitude Provide oral hygiene and preventive dental care Educating patients about proper teeth cleaning techniques Applying fluoride treatments Recommending care to improve a patient’s oral health Sterilize instruments according to regulations Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked at all times Taking radiographs Maintain accurate patient records Screening patients during checkups Reviewing a patient’s dental history Scheduling patient appointments Being a team player if other tasks are needed around the office Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
