Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. This role requires a strong foundation in general dentistry procedures, excellent patient communication skills, and adherence to the highest standards of infection control and medical documentation. Experience with dental software such as Dentrix is preferred, along with expertise in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental fabrication. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care within a collaborative team environment. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history review and clinical examinations using medical imaging techniques. Perform a wide range of dental procedures such as dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, root canal therapy, extractions, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Utilize advanced dental technology and adhere to aseptic techniques to ensure infection control and patient safety. Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs while explaining procedures clearly using appropriate dental terminology. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and document all patient interactions thoroughly. Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to deliver efficient four-handed dentistry for optimal patient comfort. Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols including infection control standards and proper handling of medical imaging equipment. Stay current with industry best practices and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills. Experience Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment is required; experience with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable. Demonstrated proficiency in general dentistry procedures including root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles and practices is a plus. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy relevant to dentistry, infection control protocols, and medical documentation standards. Prior experience in utilizing dental fabrication techniques and managing complex cases involving multiple specialties is advantageous. Excellent communication skills for effective patient care and education are essential for success in this role.
