Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Little Rock, AR

West Little Rock office looking for a Full-Time RDA. Looking for a compassionate and hard working new member to our team! Salary: Commensurate with experience Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Must assist dentist and dental hygienists -Must be able to work well with other team members -Must guide patients through dental processes prior to treatment, educate patients in oral hygiene instruction, and provide postoperative instructions -Perform assessments that include obtaining and reviewing patient health histories and taking/recording blood pressure and other vital signs -Perform appropriate dental charting and treatment documentation in the electronic record -Must be able to take diagnostic dental X-rays -Administer nitrous oxide/oxygen analgesia - Perform coronal polishing -Take acceptable alginate impressions, pour, and trim models -Must be able to fabricate night guards, bleaching trays, splints, custom trays, and temporary crowns -Prepare lab prescription forms, ship and receive lab cases, and maintain record of lab orders -Assist within-office whitening -Perform daily and routine maintenance ofdental equipment as assigned -Clean and sterilize dental instruments, supplies, and dental assist units and maintain organization andsupply of sterilization area -Establish and maintain an organized, efficient, cost-effective inventory control system, continually monitoring supply levels and reordering by working with assigned purchaser -Maintain stock of dailysupplies in all clinic rooms -Review daily schedules and resolve conflicts as necessary -Perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties (answer telephones, make appointments, explain and receive payment for procedures,and other duties as assigned) -Assist with front desk/business administration duties as assigned ⢠Qualifications: -Candidate must possess high school diploma/GED. -Candidate must be certified as registered Dental Assistant ( RDA) through Arkansas State Board of Dental Examiner -Must be trained in four-handeddentistry and may be asked to have a working interview. - Must have at least one year of dental assisting experience. -Background check mandatory - Must be CPR certified -Successful completion of dental assistant school/program accreditedby the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Dental Assisting: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: Registered Dental Assistant (Required) X-Ray Certification (Required) Work Location: In person
