Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is excited to welcome a Dental Assistant II / PC Floater to support our growing Clemmons office! This role is ideal for an experienced, highly adaptable Dental Assistant who enjoys both clinical excellence and patient-facing administrative responsibilities. This position will primarily support one doctor, assisting chairside while also helping strengthen front desk workflows and treatment coordination. As the doctor's schedule continues to expand, this role will transition into a more dedicated DAII position. Clinical Responsibilities: Assist doctor during a variety of procedures including: Implants Surgeries Endodontic procedures Deliveries and post-ops New patient appointments NextGen (NG) scans Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials Maintain sterilization protocols and operatory cleanliness Take and process radiographs Perform coronal polishing (if certified) Monitor and support patient comfort during procedures Accurately chart and update patient records Manage clinical inventory and supplies Administrative / Front Desk Support: Assist with checkout and patient flow Present and coordinate treatment plans confidently and clearly Schedule appointments strategically to optimize a growing schedule Answer phones and respond to emails and message communications Support insurance explanation and financial conversations Help minimize scheduling gaps and ensure timely patient follow-up What Weâre Looking For This role requires a confident, experienced assistant who can seamlessly shift between clinical and administrative responsibilities. Required Certifications: Dental Assistant II credentials (or equivalent) X-ray certification Nitrous oxide certification Coronal polishing certification CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days) Experience: 1â3+ years of dental assisting or dental patient coordination experience preferred Experience assisting with implants, surgery, and endodontics strongly preferred Comfort with treatment presentation and case acceptance conversations Denticon experience is a plus If youâre an experienced Dental Assistant or Patient Coordinator ready to expand your impact both clinically and administratively, weâd love to meet you!
