Klooster Family Dentistry is looking for an experienced, people-first Treatment Coordinator / Patient Care Coordinator to join our Raleigh practice. This is a high-touch, patient experienceâfocused role for someone with a great personality who enjoys guiding patients through treatment plans, following up with patients who have outstanding care, and making every interaction feel warm, personal, and intentional. This role sits at the heart of the patient journey. Youâll be the friendly, trusted voice patients remember. The person who helps them understand their treatment, feel comfortable with next steps, and feel genuinely cared for every time they interact with our office. Our Raleigh practice is a well-established, welcoming office with long-standing patients and a close-knit team. Itâs a place where relationships matter and your impact will be felt every single day. About the role: This is a hands-on, hybrid Treatment Coordinator / Patient Care Coordinator role focused on patient experience, communication, and follow-through. In this role, you will: Present and explain treatment plans in a clear, confident, and patient-friendly way Review dental insurance benefits and help patients understand coverage, estimates, and next steps Follow up with patients who have outstanding or unscheduled treatment and help move their care forward Communicate with patients by phone, text, and in person to answer questions and provide guidance Schedule treatment efficiently and coordinate care with the clinical team Serve as a key touchpoint for patients from diagnosis through treatment completion Use OpenDental daily to manage schedules, treatment plans, and patient records Utilize Weave and Dental Intelligence for patient communication, texting, phone calls and to track follow-up opportunities and support patient outreach Ensure every interaction reflects a high level of professionalism, warmth, and care What Weâre Looking For Previous experience as a Treatment Coordinator or similar dental front-office role Strong understanding of in-network dental insurance and confidence explaining benefits and estimates Comfortable discussing treatment plans and helping patients feel confident moving forward Excellent phone presence and communication skills Organized, detail-oriented, and consistent with follow-up Positive, outgoing personality with a genuine love for people Experience with OpenDental, Weave, and Dental Intelligence is a strong plus Why Youâll Love It Here Youâll play a central role in the patient experience, not just âwork the front deskâ Youâll work with a supportive, collaborative clinical and administrative team Clear systems, expectations, and leadership support A stable, well-established Raleigh practice with loyal patients Opportunities to grow within a larger, expanding organization Office Hours MondayâWednesday: 8:00 AM â 5:00 PM Thursday: 8:00 AM â 3:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM â 2:00 PM * Team members are expected to arrive by 7:45 AM for a mandatory daily morning huddle before the day begins to ensure office-wide success.
