About the Job: Maitland Pediatric Dentistry is a new, private pediatric dentistry practice, and is currently seeking a full time expanded functions dental assistant to join our dynamic team. Our practice fosters a collaborative, positive, team-driven environment, while prioritizing the use of the latest technology (including digital x-rays and charting) in order to provide the highest quality pediatric patient care. Pay range: $20-$24 As our perfect match you: Current EFDA certification in Florida Possess a current x-ray certification Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development Prioritize patient rapport and outstanding customer service Promote a positive work environment Follow the practice’s protocols for patient care, room set up, and equipment sterilization Record dental histories and maintaining accurate patient records Have experience providing front office support, such as greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling, taking payments, and maintaining patient records Can readily take instruction from the treating provider, and can adapt to different styles and requirements Your history likely shows: 1+ years of experience in a dental practice, preferably pediatric Strong organizational and administrative skills – you see what needs to be done and do it Ability to multi-task, take initiative and anticipate the needs of others Ability to project a positive, warm and professional image in person and on the phone If you love what you do and want to be a part of a new and growing practice, please let us know!
