Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing four-handed dentistry support. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following infection control protocols. Take X-rays and ensure proper handling of imaging equipment. Utilize 3D scanners for digital impressions as needed. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans. Support prosthodontics procedures by preparing materials and assisting with fittings. Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile working environment. Perform basic administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. Qualifications Previous experience in dental assisting is a must, with knowledge of general dentistry practices. Familiarity with Eaglesoft Familiarity with infection control standards and aseptic techniques is essential. Proficiency in taking X-rays and understanding anatomy related to dental procedures. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed. Dental Assisting and Radiology certifications are a must. Minimum of two years experience.
