Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Pasadena, CA
We are brand new Pediatric Dental office looking to add an experienced Dental Assistant or an RDA (compensation increase for RDA) to our amazing team. We are a brand new with a modern, calm design and fresh take on what patients can expect when seeing their dentist. Weâd like to find someone who can bring lots of energy, empathy and optimism to our practice. About our practice: -Private practice with owner doctor fully present -Holistic dentistry-Focused on quality care and children of all ages -The ideal candidate will be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. Spanish speaking is not required but is an added benefit for consideration. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make clinical procedures as smooth as possible. Responsibilities Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Schedule appointments Maintain accurate patient records Skills Proven experience as dental assistant Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Excellent communication and people skills (warm and supportive) Multi-task capable with an attention to detail Strong understanding of pediatric dentistry principles and general dentistry procedures. Ability to communicate effectively with children and their families while maintaining professionalism. Certification in dental assisting or related field is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience will be considered.
