This part-time position offers competitive compensation and mileage reimbursement at 72.5 cents per mile for travel between locations. Primary Location: Oak Lane Dental (Tiffin, OH) Schedule Note: This part-time role involves working 2-3 days per week , primarily based at our Oak Lane Dental location in Tiffin on Mondays and Thursdays with the option to also work Fridays . You must also be available to work every other Wednesday at our Hires Dental Care location in Toledo (mileage paid). What you will be doing: Actively assisting our dentist chair-side with room preparation, surgical procedures , and documentation Supporting oral surgery workflows, including instrument preparation, sterilization, and patient monitoring during procedures Taking quality radiographs/x-rays as determined by our dentist Educating our patients regarding their treatment plans (including surgical cases) and how to maintain their oral health Ensuring we maintain compliance with regulatory and safety expectations, especially in surgical settings Assisting, as needed, other clinical team members Our ideal candidates have: 1-2 years minimum of Surgical Dental Assisting experience (oral surgery or comparable experience preferred) Nitrous Oxide Monitoring Certification for Ohio Strong work ethic and desire to learn Strong interpersonal and communication skills Natural organizational skills Quality clinical skills with a willingness to grow, learn, and try new things A team-oriented mindset A naturally happy personality A desire to make each patient's experience "rave worthy" Reliable transportation and the ability to reliably commute to both Tiffin and Toledo locations If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!
