## Job Summary New Smile Orthodontics is seeking a rockstar Orthodontic Assistant to join our awesome team. The ideal candidate will assist the orthodontist in providing orthodontic care to patients, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience. ## Responsibilities - Assist orthodontists during orthodontic procedures, -archwire changes,bonding, banding, Itero digital scanning, working with clear aligners - Polishing and cleaning teeth after braces removal -Perform X-Rays and medical imaging as required - Maintain aseptic technique and ensure infection control protocols are followed - Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately - Support with dental receptionist duties when needed - Provide assistance with four-handed dentistry techniques ## Requirements - Experience in orthodontic or dental assisting preferred- Proficiency in X-Ray procedures and medical imaging techniques- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $24.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount On-the-job training Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Profit sharing Retirement plan Experience: orthodontic Dental assisting: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: X-Ray Certification (Required) Ability to Commute: Tracy, CA 95304 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Tracy, CA 95304: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
