Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Full-time Dental Assistant to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional chairside assistance, ensure infection control, and support the clinical team in delivering high-quality patient care. The successful applicant will have experience with various dental procedures, Eaglesoft and Dexis, and a strong understanding of dental terminology and anatomy. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and implants. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, maintaining aseptic technique and infection control standards Take and develop X-rays, including 3D scans, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed Record vital signs and medical history information accurately in medical documentation systems Provide patient education on dental procedures and post-treatment care Perform medical imaging and assist with complex procedures requiring advanced knowledge of anatomy and dental terminology Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment adhering to infection control protocols Qualifications 4 years proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a busy dental clinic setting Proficiency with Eaglesoft, Dexis and Trio scanner. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control procedures Experience with chairside assisting Ability to operate X-ray equipment safely and effectively; certification in radiography is required if applicable Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and aseptic techniques Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is highly desirable This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated dental professional to grow within a supportive team dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care.
