Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs. Perform dental cleanings and apply preventive treatments like sealants and fluoride. Educate patients on maintaining good oral hygiene and the importance of regular dental visits. Keep accurate patient records and documentation, adhering to HIPAA regulations. Utilize EMR systems for seamless patient management. Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe and sterile environment. Stay informed on the latest dental practices, terminology, and medical coding. Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional care in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Qualifications Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus. Proficient in medical imaging and assessing vital signs. Strong knowledge of infection control procedures. Excellent communication skills for educating patients about their oral health. Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a professional and caring approach.
