Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled registered Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology, along with experience in chairside assisting and infection control, temporary crown This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a comfortable environment for patients. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available. Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical documentation and medical records, in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize EMR systems such opendental for efficient patient management. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, particularly in pediatric dentistry settings. Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance workflow during procedures. Monitor vital signs and assist with medical imaging as required. Uphold aseptic techniques and infection control standards throughout the clinic. Collaborate with the dental receptionist to schedule appointments and manage patient flow effectively. Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting, Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedure Ability to perform chairside assisting duties efficiently while maintaining patient comfort. Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques within a dental environment. Excellent communication skills preferably Bilingual to interact effectively with patients and team members. Certification in dental assisting is preferred; current CPR certification is also advantageous.
