Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our established general dentistry practice. In this role, you will provide high-quality preventive and therapeutic dental care while supporting overall patient health and maintaining clinical excellence. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and review medical histories Take and evaluate digital radiographs while following safety protocols Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and individualized treatment recommendations Assist the dentist during examinations and support treatment planning discussions Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation using dental software systems Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards at all times Monitor periodontal health and communicate findings clearly to patients and the clinical team Contribute to an efficient daily workflow and maintain a clean, organized operatory Qualifications Current state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist Current CPR/BLS certification Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control, and periodontal therapy Experience in a general dentistry setting preferred Proficiency with dental software systems for documentation and charting Excellent communication and patient education skills Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and strong work ethic Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team We are committed to maintaining a supportive and respectful work environment where clinical excellence and patient care are top priorities.
