Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform thorough dental cleanings, and support our patients' overall health and well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and adherence to infection control protocols. Experience with Dentrix is preferred. The Registered Dental Hygienist will collaborate with the dental team to deliver comprehensive oral health services in a professional and compassionate manner. Duties Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history review. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies. Take dental imaging, such as X-rays, Photos ensuring proper technique and safety protocols. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Review medical records and documentation for accuracy and completeness. Support infection control measures by following aseptic techniques and sterilization protocols. Collaborate with dentists on treatment planning and patient care strategies. Ensure compliance with all dental terminology standards, medical coding, and documentation review processes. Skills Proficiency in dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control procedures. Experience with pediatric dentistry, medical imaging, vital signs monitoring, and EMR systems. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations. Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently while maintaining aseptic techniques. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and data security. Knowledge of general dentistry procedures, medical coding, and documentation review processes. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment in a fast-paced dental clinic setting. Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Work Location: In person
