Dental Receptionist Needed for Holistic Pediatric Practice - Bloom Kids Dentistry Tualatin - Tualatin, OR

Bloom + Brighten Kids Dentistry is looking for an experienced Front Desk Receptionist for our Tualatin location! This role comes with growth opportunities as we look for team members with the potential and desire to develop into leadership positions. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact, ensuring smooth office operations while providing exceptional patient service. Your expertise in dental and medical administrative support will help foster a positive experience from appointment scheduling to insurance verification, all within a practice dedicated to holistic health principles. Primary Job Duties Greet patients warmly, manage multi-line phone systems, and handle patient intake with professionalism and enthusiasm . Schedule appointments efficiently using Open Dental Explain dental insurance coverage, benefits, and patient financial responsibility in a clear, confident, and compassionate manner. Guide families through recommended treatment plans in a calm, empathetic, and non-judgmental way , ensuring understanding and trust. Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries via phone etiquette and ensuring a positive experience at the front desk. Qualifications Proven clinic or dental office experience with a strong understanding of dental terminology and medical terminology. Demonstrated proficiency in EMR systems such as Open Dental, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, etc. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette Prior experience in medical billing, insurance verification, and office management within a healthcare setting is preferred.
