About the Role We’re looking for an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) who shares our love for quality dentistry and teamwork. In this role, you’ll play an essential part in supporting the doctor and providing excellent restorative and cosmetic care. You’ll have time to focus on quality—not quotas—and you’ll be part of a practice that values your skills, input, and ideas. What You’ll Do Perform all EFDA duties allowed by state law, including: Placing and finishing restorations Taking impressions and fabricating temporary crowns and bridges Applying sealants, fluoride, and desensitizers Assist the doctor chairside during a variety of restorative and cosmetic procedures Prepare operatories, manage instruments, and maintain strict infection control standards Take high-quality digital radiographs and intraoral photos Accurately chart and document patient care Educate patients on treatment and after-care with warmth and clarity Contribute to a positive, team-focused atmosphere where everyone supports one another What We’re Looking For Current state licensure and certification as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) At least 3 years of clinical experience (fee-for-service experience is a plus!)
