Our established general private dental practice in Cumming, GA is seeking a dedicated, patient-focused part-time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. We have proudly served the community for over 15 years and value long-term relationships with our patients. The ideal candidate is reliable, motivated, detail oriented, and committed to providing exceptional patient care in a collaborative, paperless environment. This role offers the opportunity to work in both general and pediatric dentistry, contributing directly to patients’ oral health while supporting a positive and efficient clinical workflow. Responsibilities Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and planing, polishing, while ensuring patient comfort Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care Administer topical anesthesia such as Oraqix Operate dental imaging equipment and capture high-quality digital radiographs Maintain strict infection control standards using proper sterilization and aseptic techniques Accurately document procedures and patient records using EMR systems Review medical records for comprehensive treatment planning Ensure full compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations Collaborate with the dental team to maintain efficient scheduling and optimal patient outcomes Build rapport with patients and contribute to internal and external practice marketing efforts Qualifications & Skills Current Georgia Registered Dental Hygienist license (required) CPR certification (required) Proficiency with digital X-rays and paperless office systems Experience with EMR software Strong time-management and organizational skills Excellent communication and patient education abilities Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of care Team-oriented, dependable, and patient-focused Experience Prior experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical or private practice setting preferred Experience in both general and pediatric dentistry is a plus Chairside assisting experience is advantageous but not required Job Type: Part-time Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week Work Location: In person
