Responsibilities Perform general dentistry procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and extractions with precision and care Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, diagnosing oral health issues, and developing tailored treatment plans Execute specialized treatments such as root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery as needed Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and dental office protocols Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients Apply aseptic techniques and infection control procedures to ensure a safe clinical environment Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry to optimize patient flow and comfort Skills Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar systems Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical imaging techniques, and dental fabrication processes Experience with pediatric dentistry and providing compassionate care for children (pediatrics) Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures confidently Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, medical documentation standards, and infection control protocols Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient assessment, education, and comfort Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and oral health conditions Prior experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment is highly desirable This role is ideal for motivated professionals eager to advance their career while making a meaningful impact on patientsâ lives.
