We’re currently looking for a Part-Time Specialty Dental Assistant to join our Castle Dental team in the Nashville market. In this role, you’ll travel throughout the market supporting our Specialty providers. If you bring strong clinical skills, adaptability, and a patient-first mindset, this is an exciting opportunity to grow your specialty experience. For candidates interested in additional hours or full-time opportunities, there is the option to support both Specialty & General Dentistry at our Castle Dental offices. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, flexibility, and working across multiple teams and office environments. Schedule (days/hours): Specialty Part-time: Mon - Fri 7:30am - 5:30pm, every other week. (Full-time availability for those who can support Specialty & General offices) Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during exams and procedures, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort Take and develop dental X-rays as needed Sterilize and prepare instruments and treatment rooms following infection control protocols Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and dental procedures Maintain accurate patient records and update charts Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience (Specialty experience preferred) Meet the state-specific Registered Dental Assistant credentialing requirements Dental Radiology Certification (X-Ray) Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date) Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care Compensation: $24 - $26/hour (plus mileage reimbursement) About: Benefits are determined by employment status/hours worked and include paid time off (“PTO”), health, dental, vision, health savings account, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability insurance, employee discount programs, pet insurance, and a 401k plan.
