Responsibilities: Cleaning calcareous deposits, accretions and stains from teeth and beneath gum margins with dental instruments Charting conditions of dental decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by the dentist Maintaining and sterilizing dental equipment Applying fluorides and other cavity preventing agents to prevent dental decay Ability to prepare dental equipment and instruments Excellent working knowledge of overall dentistry and dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation Dentrix and Dexis computer experience a plus Leadership skills iTero Scanner Education: Valid Dental Hygienist license in Illinois Minimum of an Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene CPR Certification Hours: Monday 8:45am- 7:10pm and Every Other Saturday 8:45am-2:10pm.(May -August is ONE Saturday a month) Job Type: Part-time Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Employee discount Paid time off Parental leave License/Certification: Registered Dental Hygienist (Required) Work Location: In person
