Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Spring, TX

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent patient care abilities, and familiarity with various dental software systems. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment focused on providing exceptional dental services across general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics. The Registered Dental Assistant will support the dental team in delivering efficient and comfortable patient experiences while maintaining the highest standards of infection control and clinical excellence. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques Take and develop dental X-rays, including 3D scans and medical imaging as needed Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring aseptic technique is maintained Record vital signs and medical history, ensuring accurate medical documentation in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic Manage patient flow efficiently by scheduling appointments and updating medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Provide patient education on oral health, treatment procedures, and post-operative care Assist with infection control protocols and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment Support administrative tasks such as verifying insurance information and assisting with medical coding for billing purposes Maintain knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and various specialties including pediatrics, prosthodontics, endodontics, and general dentistry Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred; familiarity with dental assisting duties is essential Proficiency with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic is highly desirable Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control standards is required Experience with medical documentation, medical records management, and medical coding is a plus Certification or licensure as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) is necessary; additional training in pediatric dentistry or advanced imaging techniques is advantageous Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, aseptic technique, and infection control practices is essential for success in this role This position offers an engaging work environment where clinical expertise meets compassionate patient care.
