Job Description: As an Orthodontic Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our orthodontic practice. You will assist the orthodontist during procedures, provide excellent patient care, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Your primary responsibilities will include: Assisting the orthodontist during examinations, procedures, and treatments. Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment. Taking and developing dental radiographs (X-rays). Ensuring patients are comfortable and providing support throughout their visit. Educating patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care instructions. Managing patient records and scheduling appointments. Performing routine laboratory tasks, including pouring and trimming models. Maintaining a clean and sterile environment in the dental office. Collaborating with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care. Qualifications: Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent certification preferred. Prior experience as an orthodontic dental assistant. Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and radiographic techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
