Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Our office will consider an EFDA assistant. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of our dental office while providing exceptional patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Hours Monday - 8:30am-5:00pm Tuesday - 7:30am - 5:00pm Wednesday - 7:30am - 5:00pm Thursday - 8:30am - 5:00pm Select Fridays - Once a month - 7:30am - 1:00pm Location : Dyer, Indiana 46311 Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and treatments. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment. Maintain accurate patient records and manage dental terminology within the practice management systems. Perform basic laboratory tasks as needed, including taking impressions and preparing materials for procedures. EFDA responsibilities and duties. Qualifications Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of dental terminology and familiarity with systems such as Dentrix is an advantage. Understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols is essential. Experience or interest in Cerec is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
