Wiland D.D.S., M.S.D. is looking for a motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic Periodontal Assistant to join our team! We are a growing periodontic office with 1 doctor. The ideal candidate is a team player who wants to work with others and take care of our patients. This position is part-time! We have the privilege of seeing patients on Mondays and Fridays with the potential for a 3rd day. Skills and Knowledge Excellent customer service skills Strong computer skills Strong communication skills Ability to work with Kokomo, IN Dentrix utilized Radiology license (preferred) CPR certified Duties and Responsibilities: Assisting the doctor in the examination, treatment and treatment of patients. Cleaning and sterilizing treatment rooms, instruments, dental equipment and supplies. Taking X-rays of patients. Lab work as needed. Preparing treatment plans for patients. Maintaining cleanliness in the practice including all dental equipment and supplies. Cleaning and sterilizing practice premises at end of each workday. This includes all hygienic supplies, equipment, patient rooms, etc. Working with other team members to take x-rays or perform other dental procedures as needed. This includes assisting other team members as needed.
