If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team! At Michigan City Pediatric Dentistry, we're dedicated to making dental visits an enjoyable experience for kids! Responsibilities: Review patient health and dental history forms and update as necessary Perform gentle prophylaxis to patients Perform scaling, root planning and selective polishing for patients as appropriate Take radiographs of patients as prescribed by dentist Apply cavity-preventative agents, such as fluoride and sealants Foster a friendly and comfortable environment for children to alleviate dental anxiety Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes Teach proper oral hygiene techniques to patients and parents Clean units and help sterilize instruments Collaborate with our team of dental professionals to ensure the best patient care Qualifications: Valid Dental Hygiene License in the State of Indiana Schedule: We see patients in the office on M/T/Th 8:30AM-4:30PM and W 1PM-4:30PM. Estimated full-time hours would be 30-35 hrs/week. No weekends or late nights!
