Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience for all patients. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dentist during procedures. Your expertise in aseptic techniques and familiarity with dental software will contribute to the overall success of our practice. Duties Conduct thorough documentation reviews of patient medical histories and current conditions. Provide high-quality patient care through dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing teeth. Monitor and record vital signs as part of the patient assessment process. Assist in four-handed dentistry by supporting the dentist during various procedures. Implement aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and sterile environment. Utilize medical imaging technology to capture diagnostic images as needed. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while managing medical records. Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix dental software. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care. Experience Candidates should possess a valid Dental Hygienist license and have 2+ years experience working in a dental clinic setting. Familiarity with documentation review, patient care, vital signs monitoring, four-handed dentistry, aseptic techniques, medical imaging, HIPAA compliance, and Dentrix software knowledge is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient interactions are essential for success in this role.
